For this exhibition, Minseok Kang participates under the name "MINSEOK," presenting a media-art work on the theme of ice cream. The work symbolically expresses how memory is distorted as time passes, seeking to recreate the sweet recollections of the past. The sculptures are stored in the digital world as NFTs, remaining in a form that can be revisited at any time, and the video of ice creams rotating in various colors and shapes stands for the diverse memories and experiences of contemporary people.
At Seoul's Central City Terminal — a transit hub through which forty-one nationwide routes pass — the artist presents images crossing time and space alongside the media-art exhibition Reflected at the End of Summer, awaiting the close of the season.
