Endless Impact D07 — The Present Fracturing from a Single Point
In April 2026, Minseok Kang (KANG MINSEOK) takes part in BAMA 2026, the Busan International Art Fair at BEXCO, through ARTLAB. Presented at Booth A5, his participation is composed as a single flow of six works centered on the signature piece Endless Impact D07. It is less a simple submission than a small exhibition unfolding around one structural question: the fracture and expansion of the present.
Kang's work always begins from a single point. It is neither past nor future, but only the moment called now. Yet this "present" is not a stable state but a condition of density that can fracture and expand at any instant. In Endless Impact D07, the center of the picture is not a simple visual focus but operates at once as the limit at which existence endures itself and the threshold at which it seeks to surpass itself.
The two red automobiles crossing the picture race in different directions, yet they are not two. It is a state in which a single being advances in two directions at once — a structure in which one self and another self operating within it coexist in the same moment. Here, speed is converted not into physical movement but into the force by which existence pushes against and expands itself.

Where the Compressed Present Explodes — One Question Crossing the Series
This force reveals itself through line and color. The strong strokes splitting the picture and the flow of paint pushed by the squeegee do not depict time. Rather, time here does not flow; the present bursts and spreads while compressed. In this work, time is not a linear flow but an event expanding simultaneously from a single point.
The structure carries into the other works shown alongside it. In Timeleap, a single being does not move by passing through layers of time; instead, different times overlap within a single moment. In Reversed Boundary, reality and the inner world are not divided but set as an incomplete boundary that can be overturned and penetrated at any time. In Time Horizon, the destination to be reached disappears, and only the direction that keeps receding remains. Kang's work does not explain a single story. Instead, it repeats a single question — where is the moment called now, and why does that moment endlessly fracture and expand?

The Automobile Is Not a Means of Movement, but a Device Pushing Time, Space, and Self at Once
For Kang, the automobile is not a means of movement. It is a device that pushes time, space, and the self all at once — the figure of a being that fractures not in one direction but in several. For this reason, his picture always begins from a single center yet never converges toward a single direction.
This presentation, unfolding at BAMA 2026 · ARTLAB Booth A5, is a scene showing how a present that began from a single point tears in several directions, expands at the same time, and in the end is never fixed into a single form. At its center lies the work that still remains like a single question — Endless Impact D07.
