MINSEOK Atelier Gallery asks for your details only to send the Notes and to answer correspondence. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out below.

01Information We Collect

MINSEOK Atelier Gallery collects only the following. Nothing else is requested.

  • Required — email address
  • Optional — a note to the editor
  • Only if you request the printed edition by mail — last name, first name, postal code, street address, address detail
  • Collected automatically — access logs, browser and device information, cookies (see section 5)

02How We Use It

Your information is used only for the purposes below. It is never sold, and never used for advertising.

  • Sending the Notes by email
  • Mailing the printed edition and catalogues
  • Responding to archive, press, and research correspondence
  • Understanding and improving how the site is used

03How Long We Keep It

We keep your information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. On request we delete it promptly and irreversibly.

Records we are required by law to retain are kept for the period the law requires.

04Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell or share your personal information. We do rely on the service providers below, each of which processes data only for the purpose stated.

  • Google LLC (USA) — storing submissions (Google Sheets, Apps Script) and site analytics (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager)
  • Microsoft Corporation (USA) — usage analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — hosting and delivery
  • Kakao Corp. (South Korea) — Korean postal code lookup. Addresses entered there are used for the lookup only and are not separately stored.

These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States and the Republic of Korea. By submitting the form you consent to that transfer.

05Cookies and Analytics

The site uses cookies and similar technology to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from, in aggregate. It is not used to identify you personally.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, a notice appears at the bottom of the screen asking for your consent, and no analytics are loaded until you give it. Choosing Decline sets nothing at all.

From anywhere else, you can still refuse cookies in your browser settings. Either way the site remains fully readable.

06Your Rights

You may exercise the rights below at any time, and we will act on your request promptly. Depending on where you live, these rights are granted by Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act.

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct it if it is wrong
  • Delete it
  • Ask us to stop processing it
  • Unsubscribe from the Notes

Write to [email protected]. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

07Security

Access to your information is limited to those who need it, and all transmission is encrypted (HTTPS). Storage held by our service providers is protected by account authentication.

08Children

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 14 in the Republic of Korea). If we learn that we have, we delete it immediately.
